Visegrad Spa is located 5 km north of Višegrad. It is located in a dense pine forest at an altitude of 414 m. Due to its altitude and natural environment, it also has the characteristics of an pulmonary illness treatment center. The thermal waters of Višegrad Spa have the characteristics of radioactive carbonate homeotherms with a temperature of 34ºs. The basic healing properties come from its radioactivity, whose carrier is radon element and his breakdown products. In terms of radioactivity, Visegrad Spa ranks first in Bosnia and Herzegovina and second in the former Yugoslavia. The degree of radiation is therapeutically optimal.

Near the Vilina Vlas Hotel there is hamam bath as well. The story of this bathroom is interesting. Hamam was created during the construction of the famous "Bridge on Drina" in the year 1575. For the construction of the bridge, the stone from the quarry in the area of today's Visegrad Spa has been used. During the extraction of the stone, the workers discovered the spring of the mineral water, and soon discovered that the wounds they had received on work have been healed much faster than they should have. They attributed this beneficial effect to the mineral water in which they have bathed, so it was then decided to make the Hamam there. The Hamam is still in use today.
